It didn't snow or hail, but I think we got everything else!
Woke up and looked outside. Rain? Check. Too warm for the rain gear? Check. Darn. OK, so we'll ride in the sweats. 9 or 10 hours at work should be long enough for them to dry out, right? Of course. So I ride on in and am soaked by the time I get there. Man, that hot shower felt good.
10 hours later and the sweats still aren't dry. Darn. Oh, well. Put them on and head back out. Wind? check, but it can't seem to decide what direction it wants to come from or what speed its going to be. Sometimes its a tailwind, other times right at me, and others it's trying to push me over. Sometimes its a nice gentle breeze and others I think I'm seeing Dorothy and Toto going the other direction. Hey! A couple of spots of sunlight! Sweet! Nice and warm. Feels good. Well, that didn't last, did it? More wind and a little more rain.
I'm home now and happy to be here. Can't wait for tomorrow! Bring it on!
