Southern California - Vintage finds?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Velo Culture in La Jolla has lots of old stuff - vintages steel frames and complete bikes. I don't know what their prices are. Pacific Coast Cycles in Oceanside has an interesting assortment of vintage bikes too.

craigslist has been good to me.. Just picked up a Merckx corsa extra 2 weeks ago that came with record 10 and some nice Campy Eurus wheels.. A little bit of old and new..
I look on ebay but only will buy local and if the seller allows me to pick up..

Reseda Bicycles has quite a few NOS parts including frames, but the price tags are premium. Not sure if you can talk them down or not.

You can put out feelers in C & V. We love people who appreciate good vintage bikes.
Unless you have evil plans on removing all the braze ons :twitchy: .
