Foo - Funkifying my bike

Now that I got a Brooks Imperial, (thank you Andrea!) I was thinking of going all the way. Gotta do something to make it look...well. Cool. Yet functional ;)

Suggestions?

I was stuck between blue and red. I wanted purple actually but that would be kinda hard to find accessories. So I told the builder to make it whatever color theme he thought would be good.

Now as for funkifying ... how 'bout some reflective decals. Getting a black & white FS in a couple of weeks (another payment - can't wait) and a few of these are going on it ...

Did you change your handlebar? I could swear that a short time ago I saw a picture of you with a flat bar on it. You also had purple cables on it.
Or was it a completly different bike?
Anyway maybe change to red cables? How about a custom paint job? Sorry everyone else put much better ideas up but there is only so much that can be done.

Actually, unless you're in the habit of riding around in the alltogether, it's exactly the opposite. The saddle takes pressure off of critical areas and makes your friend much happier after a long ride.

I think complete conversion to black old school accents would look sharp with that frame. So leather bar tape, black or black & brown Caradice style saddle bag, black steel cages.

Those are red anodized nipples. The reason for them alternating is because you don't want anodized on the drive side because they are weaker. The front was done that way to match the rear.

Well, I guess if you can't get rid of the red nipples for full poseur effect, red cables would be the way to go. And a couple of Tude's decals would not go amiss!

The one thing that would make that bike absolutely rock would be my arse sitting in that saddle and my feet clipped into those pedals. Send it this way, and I'll make sure it is perfectly rocking.

Black! Then you can use the black leather bar tape and get rid of the red cages and replace with nice carbon fiber black cages. Then when you get sick of all black accessories, you can take off the nail polish, put back all the red stuff, and add red cables. Yes? :thumb:

At the mall, took 15 mins. There's a little stand that makes almost custom stickers.

Leather strap around the chainstay to save the paint from chainslap.

What about switching to a red patent-leather brooks kinda like these birkenstocks?
