As some of the regulars here may know, I have been car free since August of 2006.

However I am into motorcycles and I like to do long trips once or twice a year.

I have a motorcycle purely for recreational use, but I found that I was using my wifes car once in a while to take my bike to the sunday group ride meet spot..

I figured that I could avoid the car all together if I could simply tote my bike along on the motorcycle...

Here is what I came up with..

Great idea! But is there any way you could haul the motorcycle with the bicycle?

I wonder if there's a way to safely carry the bicycle directly on the motorcycle.

I did find this link which certainly was interesting...... http://www.physicsforums.com/showthread.php?t=101906

The future plan for this hitch kit is to adapt a regular tow-mount vertical bike rack that plugs directly into it. Of course, I will have to chop and cut the rack so the bikes rest on the seat-tube vertically.
