Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I mean who better to be able to deftly bend over and easily retrieve that part
which feeble, clumsy, weak old fingers just dropped onto the floor?

Who better to tie those shoe laces that are hiding somewhere below that
old beer belly? Certainly the nimble, sensitive, sure fingers of a young person
are better suited for tying those hidden shoe laces by just the sense of touch.

The young body absolutely would heal faster from the bruises and scrapes acquired
by clumsy, half blind old codgers such as my self who spend more time bouncing
off foreign objects that suddenly just “Got in the way!”.

I know the youngsters would recover from riding the bike just a little farther
than was prudent much quicker than I would, could, do.

Now that I actually get a few minutes to tinker which such wonderful
devises such as derailleurs and such, I need a youngster’s eyes to see the results
of tweaking those adjustment screws!

Yep, no doubt about it……the young would definitely be able to handle the
physical calamities of old age quite well. Too bad they lack the patience. :D

Now let's see here....where did I leave that screwdriver?

The way I see it is that youth is wasted on young people.

Very poetic. I like how the last line jumps out and bites the reader. A+

Sadly, it's all too true.
