Thank you,

conversion time! lol, but really, the 29er isnt bad if you want to do lots of trail riding, but i wouldnt suggest is as a commuter or anything. what type of riding do you want to get into?

I, for one, think the Monocog 29 is a work of art. Being a single-speed...it's a masterpiece.
But then I love bikes.

If you're looking to ride single speed on the street and trails I'd recommend an IRO Rob Roy.

Awesome bike. The Flite model is even better.

I do mostly trail riding, but I do some flat land stuff with my wife.

A monocog is a great deal. I've had one for three years now. Its intended for trail use and works well for that. Theres no point in spending more for a singlespeed bike used primarily on dirt trails. I also use it for commuting in extreme weather too (snow, ice, etc.). Its geared too low for normal street riding, unless your wife is slow. Mine is;)

I got a monocog ss '26er' and think its a fine bike. I'm sure the 29er is even better.
