Hi,
I use a FR305 for running and now cycling (s. cadence) with Sportracks software (nice s/w and donation-based btw). It works great.
Recently I installed a power plugin for the Sportracks s/w. The plugin calculates power output based on collected gps data, rider/bike specifics, and local weather data gleaned from a number of sites using weather underground. Its pretty slick.
That said, I would imagine the plugin is inaccurate. I'm just curious if anyone has validated the plugin using a reliable power meter.
Has anyone compared the two methods of power logging? If so, how inaccurate is the plugin?
Cheers,
-R
