after reading the "laws we break" thread, i've come up with a plan i wish to present to the motorized world.

here's my offer:

i will obey every traffic law: never coast a stop sign or light, never filter traffic, none of it... if and when cars are limited to 35 km/h, 30 kg cargo capacity and drivers have an equal chance of being killed or injured in a collision with a cyclist.

thats a bit extreme.

II would say the miute police start prosecuting car for mnor infractions and drivers are not allowed to do ANYTHING else while they drive. No eating no phone calls if found eating or on the pohone that should constitute Driving wile imparied because thats what you are doing.

I don't know if motorists will stand an equal chance of getting killed.

But one time , I referred to a car with airbags as " A Mobile Rubber-Room" and I got a laugh out of a few people.
