Currently on the hybrid I have Bontrager tires (700 x 35 -I can check the model later). They're kind of an all season tread on them, and not smooth like slicks. They run at 80 psi. I am thinking of switching to the Gatorskins many talk about here, but am wondering about how well they roll. The current tires, well, sometimes it seems like I'm always working against them, maybe a bit too much friction against the road. Do the Gatorskins (or other tires) roll better? Is it just the psi difference? Just looking for your experiences, thanks.

Any narrower, smoother tire will roll better. Ditto to higher pressure. If you are on the road only, you should look for a narrower tire. Shelton Brown web site has a good cross reference on rim versus tire size. Basically, you have a lot of options on tire width.
I put slicks on my MTB. Much improved on the road, not suited for off road of course.
The Gatorskins will roll better - lots of racers use them to avoid flats and for training too.
I've been getting lots of glass flats through them though lately (about 500 miles so they're still pretty new). Tough on potholes and other stuff though.
