Has anyone done this ride before? I'm thinking about the 30 mile ride. Really, I think my biggest concern is the limited number of t-shirts.
I did the Tour du Port a couple of years ago, I can only assume that the terrain will also be mostly flat.
thanks

The main route looks like fun, but it won't be as flat as Tour du Port. The north part will involve a few hills.
The 30 mile misses the Gwynns Falls Trail, one of the nicest parts of the ride.
With an organized ride happening, maybe they'll clean up the lower end of the Falls Trail.
The Paxtuxent Rural Legacy Metric is the day before, but this might be more interesting.

This ride is looking more attractive (especially since my Saturday has been scheduled for me.)
Baltimore's a nice city to ride in. This'd be a chance to see some different parts of the city from the Tour de Port, and in a different season.
$30 fee and about $15 gas......hmmmm......
Will decide when I see the weather.
Baltimore's a nice city to ride in? If you like lumpy roads, sure!
Baltimore roads suck ass. Probably why the Baltimore Bike Club doesn't have 1 ride that starts in Baltimore! :)

I would like to take this opportunity to answer some of the questions raised:
We still have about 100 shirts left for preregistered riders as of last night. If you don't get a shirt we will be offering to mail you one for $5 shipping and handling.
The routes (except the 14 mile option which is flat) are not the hilliest that Baltimore has to offer but are not flat ether but are very mild compared to a lot of BBC rides.
Baltimore is currently doing some massive repaving, the roads we are using should be in decent enough repair.
The BBC does offer rides in Baltimore, Gwynns Fall Trail, Fort McHenry and Bay Shore Park just to name some off the top of my head.
The ride is for a very good cause and the BBQ and beer afterwards should be fun.

I think I've decided to do this ride last minute since I can't do the Pax ride either on Sat. Are the 2008 routes posted anywhere? It shows the 2007 routes on the web site.

The 2008 routes are not up as they were finalized a few days ago.

Barry, Not sure if you'll read this or not before tomorrow, but a few questions?
We are hoping to start before 8 due to the heat - probably starting by 7:30 at the latest. Will the rest stops be running?
How different is the 20 vs. 30 mile ride? We'll be with our 6 year old on a tandem - he's a seasonaed rider - just making sure roads /traffic not too crazy on the route.
Also, road bike with 25C tires OK? I think I did this on a mtn bike 2 yrs ago (with slicks) and lamenting I should have done this on my road bike....
Hope to see some riders. We'll be on a Trek Pilot (silver) and Trek tandem - white.
