Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

If this is your slalom bike and you want it light why go with trail pimps?
Also, may be think about an Easton carbon seat poast and bars.

As for tires, it would depend on the course you will be riding. If it is hard pack and no loose stuff then I would say either the Maxxis Highroller semi-slick or even the Lopes tire (has a bit more grip and still rolls well).

Pedals, do you like flats or clipless? You get better acceleration with clipless but some people do not like being conected to the bike when hitting the jumps.

As for a seat, since you want to keep it light and it is only a slalom bike I would say get a Sella Italia SLR.

For cranks, I say the new XTR since you want to stay light or perhaps some FSA carbons.
