Hey guys, I have a 05 Fuji Nevada with a SR Suntour XC 60 fork (crappy elastomer). Anyways I was riding yesterday, and noticed a very faint squeaking sound every few minutes or so. By the end of the ride (~1 hour) it was squeaking over every bump, root, rock, etc. The ride was typical XC singletrack, nothing extreme. I will be getting a new bike in about a month so I don’t want to upgrade this one.
So my question is will lubing the stations alleviate the problem? If so what should I lube them with? I know most people don’t use (or probably maintain) elastomer forks, but I need to use this bike for a little while longer.
Thanks,
