What do you think of my LHT? I'm not leaving for 31 days, but I'm almost ready.

Brooks saddle, check
Front and rear racks, check
Ortleib Paniers, check
36 spoke wheels, check,
Pump, check
LHT with the logo scrubbed out, check

What are you waiting for?

I would put Schwalbe tires on that list, but I can't see if you have them there...

nice bike, have fun.

sorry to nit pick, but....

tuck the strap on your front pannier in somewhere so it doesn't get into your wheel and crash you. or make you insane with the incessant tap-tap-tapping

what is that triangle pack thingy for? can you get a water bottle in the rear cage? and drink out of it?

your tail light might not be visible, can it go on the back of the rack?

This was just a test-packing. I wanted to see if all my gear fit neatly, and it does. The pannier with the hanging strap I'm not going to worry about, because its in my garage not going anywhere loaded for 30 days. I haven't decided if I'm taking the triangle pack yet. I think it would be a good place for all my tools/tubes. Not sure if it interferes with the bottle mount. My new stem is gorgeous (NOS 3T Mutangolo) and I've never seen another one like it. I need a handlebar bag. I also need a permanent tail light that bolts to my tubus. Other than that I'm set.

Wow, it looks really good without the labels, I might consider removing mine from my LHT sometime for aesthetic purposes and/or possible thief-deterrent. The stickers get scratched up anyway with use.

Nice set-up.

No, you have to apply heat with a hair dryer for example and scrape them off with a old credit card. Other folks may have other methods, but this worked fine for my son's cross check.

Nice setup, one suggestion though, I'd replace the pump with a third water bottle and carry the pump in a pannier

Bah, what a terrible looking rig! In fact it looks quite dangerous. Contact me and I'll arrange to have it picked up and taken to a good home (mine). :)

Have fun with it!

I would also put a water bottle (or a fuel bottle) on the bottom of the down tube and move the pump to the underside of the left seat stay. The more water the better.

Where are you going and for how long?

As surly frames are powder coated, you might try a little bit of acetone, if the stickers are vinyl or acetate they will come off pretty quickly check on the inside of the chainstays to be sure it won't peel the powder/clear coats. And don't under any circumstances do this with carbon as the acetone can eat the epoxy that holds that carbon together.

That is a beautiful sight, what tires are on there?

I use goo gone to remove those kinds of sticky things, that and my thumb.
