Hi,

I'm leaving for a solo tour across the U.S. on the Transam this weekend. Will anyone else be out there this weekend? I was thinking there would be a lot of folks starting around now.

Which way are you going? If E-W you will probably see lots of folks. Maybe a few less if going W-E as it is still a bit early for W-E.

In any case I hope you have a great trip. The TA is a great route, have fun.

My wife and I will be starting our E to W up in Delaware on Wed. May 28th. After riding the C&O, part of the GAP, and the Katy Trail, we will connect into the TransAm Trail somewhere in eastern Kansas, probably in early-mid July. It would be great if we can meet up and swap stories.
