my goal for when i'm summer riding is to be able to do my normal route with an average speed of over 30km/h.
in late march, i averaged 24.6km/h. today i went out for a boot (first good ride in maybe two weeks - too much homework + work), and averaged 27.2km/h. the only difference in riding conditions is a steady wind today. last year, i could do the route at 26km/h towards the end of the season.
i was sick for over a month in march, which would explain a low "starting speed." I've gone up nearly 2.5km/h since then, though. Is it reasonable to think i'll be able to hit 30km/h if i start riding again in the summer? or... is that going to be reached next year?
