I am planning to ride this trail in mid July and I have a few questions
I want to ship my bike from Vancouver to a bike store for reassembly in Laval or some place that will have a route readily accessible so I can get on the trail at Blaineville.
Do I require hotel reservations along the trail? I plan to start the ride at Mont Laurier either on Sunday or Monday and finish 3 days later
Are there many camping options available on the trail?

I haven't done Le Petit Train du Nord, but from what I gather from people I've talked to, there are many places really remote along the way that you could do some stealth camping along the way.

Although the trail "starts" at Blainville, which is a suburb, you can start from Montreal, go through Laval, and reconnect to Blainville without any complications. I can also answer (hopefully) most of your questions as I rode that trail last september and live next to a bike path in Montreal that connects to that path.

I gather you'll be riding from Mt-Laurier back to Montreal.

There's a camping ground roughly half way at St-Faustin Lac-Carré. It's called Camping Lausanne. The Route Verte (p'tit train du nord) bike path actually runs thru the camping ground. I've been there last year and it was nice (not sure how it is at peak season because this was the last weekend of the season). If you contact me, I can set you up with a few links that'll help you to find whatever you're looking for.

And if you do that trail in july, be sure to bring some bug repellent. I cannot stress this point enough.

You're in for a treat, that trail is real nice. Some sections go along the highway, but most if it is in the woods and real beautiful!
