i've been very focused in my winter training, which has me mountain biking the trails on weekends, spin class 2-3 days a week and legs, core and some upper body weight strengthening.

well, i've been trashing my legs in my gym workouts pretty good, and while i have really increased my leg strength- i find that my pedal stroke on a road bike is very choppy.

i know this is temporary(??!!) but it is distressing.

I hear ya.. you just have to let it go, adn work on it when spring gets closer... it will get better the more road you ride... for now, just concentrate on leg strength...

You didn't lose your mojo. Here I am!

:D

Hmmmm.... What did you do with the training schedule I put together for you? If you're following it, you shouldn't be feeling this way at tall (sp error intended for twang purposes ;) ). Anyway, I'm going to be busy all tomorrow, but can you give me a call on Saturday so we can go through things? Because this early in the season, you shouldn't be trashing your legs. If you keep up at this rate, you'll be less tired in the early summer and weaker in general for those rides you were telling me about.

Riph,

Get a set of Rollers, ride them once a week just
to get your mojo, er I mean spin back.

Spin an easy gear after your workout to recover.
