Anyone ever see anything like that? Looks just like the Rocket Rings. Seller says its some kind of nylon. Weird to say the least. Why would you want a full plastic chainring? I'm actually kinda tempted to buy one (to see how fast the teeth get shaved). . . but I probably won't.

my guess it is a carbon fiber blended with a plastic. It is used alot in kayak paddles to make a decent blend between light weight, but strong. At least in the paddle application it is flexy (but very bash resistant/anti cracking)
