Ive picked up a used Giant Rainer SE a few weeks ago and have been having a blast on it. Ive started hitting some of the local trails pretty heavy and I definitely think this is going to become a major hobby of mine. Now my question is, at this point would I be best set to just stick to this bike, as is, for a while, look into a new one(at most, Id be willing to spend 800) or look into upgrading components?

I know the shock is a weak link, but I dont know if a best approach would be buying a new shock by itself or picking up a whole new bike.
