I think i might build a ramp at my house its been awhile since i last built one... I had a few boxes from skating back when i was younger a few decent rails as well but when i moved out my parents made me trash all that stuff... so since me and my roommate were learning to ride i decided i should either build a bank with a platform or a 1/4 pipe both would be only about 4ft. and would have to sport wheels so i could flip it on its back and roll it in to the back yard. My origional thought was to build a half pipe in the back yard. but im not sure my landlord would like it. any ideas... Also we did build a dirt type fly box down the street from our house but there is a few loose patches that put me on my face a few time... would a bag of quickcreet sprinkled over the area firm it up a bit? or should i just get some carpet?

Carpet is good if the surface under it is smooth.

head down to your local library and ask if they have any ramp plans books. i know mine does. it might be for skateboarding but you can always use those or just make em bigger.
