My fork, which has (at most) 300 miles on it, has started squeaking. It seems to be coming from the springs... But I'm not sure how to diagnose this problem / fix it.

You would probably need to partially strip the fork to see what's going on inside and relube as necessary. Sounds like the coil has dried up a bit.
I would recommend taking it to a RS dealer rather than attempt it yourself unless you're very confident.
