Allan, have you tried upping the voltage on it to 48V? It will give you more torque and you will have the ability to play around with hills. The speed will also go up dramatically. And if you do two packs in parallel at 48V, it will up your speed even more, torque as well. You can really up the power on that motor with more batteries. no joke.
