Southeast - Palm Beach County Check in

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Anyone here in Palm beach County (i.e. the user with the PBSO signature pic)...
name is Robert and my wife is Bethany, Live in West Palm and I just got back into biking and we have rather inexpensive bikes until we can afford nice ones. We are looking to get into biking with other people and finding new places to ride.
I know a guy down there that rides with a group. Shoot me you email in a PM and I will forward to him and see about getting you connected with their group.

I'm in Palm Beach as well. Doesn't seem to be much of a bike following here.

That PBSO used to be my sig. I thought some people were going
to convulse trying to read a thread
If you like it , here it is !! :)
Im North Palm. Juno into Riviera  everyday.
Yer right.....not too many non-crackheads on bikes in most
areas. Probably cause of the unfriendly nature of the populace
here. I like to stick to Singer Island and Rt.A1A along the shore.
Be especially careful when the sno-birds come. Its I-N-S-A-N-E !!!!

The ride from juno to jupiter is nice. I was visiting the folks in Palm Beach Gardens. There were alot of rodies in that area.

Juno to Jupiter is an excellent route. Delray to Deerfield is nice, too. If you guys are slow riders, Okeheelee park on Forest Hill Blvd has an excellent multi-use path.
Most group rides that I know about happen on A1A, but there's a Sunday morning frolic that (used to?still?) meets out in Wellington and sticks to the more rural of roads.
Even though I know where the groups meet, I've never ridden with them due to scheduling conflicts, but I'd suggest posting on craigslist if you wanted to hook up with other riders. There are also some groups on meetup.com: http://bike.meetup.com/244/

I'm in Hobe Sound, just a tad North of Countyline Rd. I do see a good number of people riding in Juno area along A1A, but I think I'm one of the few in my town that rides daily.
