Mountain Biking - I finally got one of my new bikes!

On the day I didnt go in to the shop my new Rocky Mountain Flow arrived. I built it up the day after and then the next day I took went back and brought her home. I havent been on a hardtail in a couple years so it is going to take some getting used to. Overall I think it gives the P3 and all the other companies that sell higher range hardtail freeride hardtail bikes a run for their money. The rocky and P3 have a totally different part spec, rocky has a DJ3QR and the P3 has a DJ2QR20, which is the biggest difference I guess. The rocky has big beefy alex wheels and the P3 has big beefy sun doubletrack wheels. There are some other small differences like derailleurs and stuff but I kind of like the rocky better. I wasnt going to wait another month or so for more P3's to come in so I just decided I would get the rocky. I also built my first snow jump of the season. And of course I have pics! (It might not be dialup friendly, I put 4 pics together as one file)

Nice rig. I bet if you throw some pegs on it you could do some sweet rail slides on your neighbors rail in the top photo. ;)

Looks like you had a tad of snow there. I wish it would snow likw that down here just once so I could enjoy the comedy of southerners driving in it.

I am southern but have lived abroad where ther is lots of snow and ice so it is no big deal to me.

To get speed I might have to use all of the neighbors driveway (its steep). There is a danger right now of hitting your head on the porch roof so I might have to cut down the jump a bit and shorten the gap. I might be jumping it tomorrow but I am not sure, none of my friends are around to ride until monday.
