Pacific Northwest - Hey! Someone fixed the 520 trail in Redmond!

There was a section of rough pavement where the roots have uplifted the asphalt, on 520 trail near Microsoft, between the last two lights/crosswalks on the trail. I rode through there on Saturday (yesterday) on my way to Sammamish River Trail. The old pavement was scraped off and a nice patch of brand new pavement was put down. Finally! :)

Now if only they repaved the Lake Washington Loop between Bellevue and Renton, and that really rough section of Sammamish River Trail just north of "downtown" Redmond, where a long section of pavement is uplifted by roots pretty much across the whole width of the trail. I like to pretend I'm riding Paris-Roubaix whenever I'm there.... ;)

Oh, it would be SO nice if the Bellevue-Renton link of Lake Washington Loop got repaved...One of these days!

Next step, the Burke-Gilman trail from the Seattle city limits northward. I have seen so many people in Kenmore and Lake Forest Park hit the root heaves at speed and subsequently crash.
