I wanted a bike that was easy to travel with, and ended up buying a Ritchey Break-away. Because I had some issues with the nerves to my fingers after PBP I wanted to see if abigger frame would give me a better position without a lot of spacers. The long toptube on this bike gives me only a 100 mm stem, but the bike is nice to ride. It is built up with 9 speed Campy which might not be the most practical choice when it comes to spare parts on brevets or longer rides. The Ritchey frame rides nicely and I do not feel much frameflex at all.

Nice bike, do you carry the bike stand with you? I recently tried some handlebar
foam/tape both the Aztec and the Profile Design 'gel' tape under standard bar tape
and found the hands much more comfortable after long rides than before.

Perhaps something like this might help.

Bike looks to be sort of racer setup. I would think that a setup with the bars more
on a level with the seat might also reduce pressure on the wrists and hands. You
must be in the 190cm height range!
