The way I would suggest is to add a hangman element to the game, so when the person guesses a wrong letter, a head, body, arm or leg gets put up.

What's your way?

Down with Pat. He's an old fart and we need someone like Joe Millionaire with a brain on there to make it watchable.

They could make it "Strip Wheel of Fortune". If they get a letter right, Vanna or Pat would have to take off an article of clothing. If not the contestants would have to take one off. :p

Have 60 minutes of Jeopardy, and skip the damn wheel show!

Yeah, I watched Jeopardy for the first time in a while- my nephew is 6 and he loves that show. He watches Jeopardy every day, repeats the answers and memorizes as much as possible from that show. We can't wait to get him into the Teen Jeopardy tournaments!

Now Wheel of Fortune is mainly a puzzle kind of game, and sometimes, the puzzle clues just are silly and don't make much sense. They just need better writers to write better clues so it's a bit more interesting on that end.

I still stand by getting a better host. Not that Joe Millionare guy, but just someone mild to good looking with lots of good humor- like Craig Kilbourn!

The thought of either of them taking their clothes off is just not that titillating, though.... bleah!

Better they add a piece of clothing for every letter right. In both their cases, more is definitely better!

Wheel of UNfortune...
if you miss a letter you must pay a penalty- be it paying a fine out of your own pocket, suffering some pain, who knows...

They could always cut off a finger for every letter you miss- that would certainly weed out the moron types that feel like they'd lose an appendage along the way!
