We used the wet and cold weather this weekend to build up Karen's Xtracycle (http://bp1.blogger.com/_vUEhS0lU3eU/SDmbTDfa8RI/AAAAAAAAFXg/9fjW6_I7u5I/s400/Karen+Xtra+4.JPG). She was so excited she was vibrating...:thumb: It was fun to see what adding an Xtracycle kit to a donor bike was like. I'm looking forward to having another longtail to ride with....

World Domination...one longtail at a time.

Wait...I don't want World Domination.

But I do like seeing another longtail born into the world.

We're trying to do our part down here...

I'm actually sorta ok with the whole Global Domination though.

I like the idea of strapping the Wideloaders into your Freeloaders. (Got a close up?)

That's Global-Domination-level thinking!

No, but I could probably get a picture though. I went to the Clean Air Rally here in Fort Worth a few weeks ago and a good friend of mine (who owns the other Big Dummy) had a display set up there. He actually carried the entire thing on the Dummy. I parked and talked to him for a while. We actually talked to quite a few people about those two bikes. We were more popular than the guys that had the Segway booth.

I think he just strapped the side buckles around the wideloaders. I'll check my library and see if I can find a better picture of it.

Let's see if I can get this pic to load up. It's from Prairie Fest, another festival in the same spirit about a week later. He carried even more for it. Probably a 30 mile or so round trip loaded up. The wideloaders are placed the same way, but there's more stuff around them. Should give you an idea though.

He also borrowed my home brewed Tray Bien to carry an Urban X to the show as a display. Man these bikes carry a ton of stuff.

When the Grid fails, the Segway cool factor will be deep in the toilet while the owners all cry about loss of power.

Meanwhile, we'll be turnin' the cranks and movin' on peddle power, y'all!
