I would bet that there's at least a few people out there who've done the STP on a fixed gear...

I've got a Chitown to C-bus trip planned for the fall. 400m total shouldnt be too bad, contemplating runing a dinglecog for the last third that has a stepper hills. The Moto' needs some TLC before had but trip plans are till in the works.
I say...plan well and pack light and plan again. Good luck!

what advantage would a dinglecog have over a regular fixed/fixed flip flop? you still have to get off the bike and loosen the chain. i've considered setting up a dinglecog, but it means a smaller chain and chainring, too. so the costs add up.

I guess it was more of an on the fly idea and I hadnt processed it much. A F/F sounds like a better idea!@
