I have this listed on CL

I have had this bike for a while and though I am a short rider 5'4" my son 5'9" says it's comfy for him though he stands half the time on it.
I've never really know where it fits in a class. It'll take a big jump though and the 6 speed is ranged nicely
and the single chainwheel has a rock cage that I think is a lifesaver,
Any one know so I can title the page better?

I'd first call it a NOMAD e90

Then maybe throw in "comfort bike" or something. Really...it's just a run--of-the-mill hybrid. I wouldn't tell anybody that it can "take a big jump" b/c anyone it their right mind wouldn't buy it after it's been abused. Jumping that bike "big" would be abuse.


Oh yeah...I'd be hard pressed to find anybody to pay more than $40 or so for it.

1. It's old.
2. It's not the most "respected" name in bikes.
3. It's only a hybrid.
4. It's old.

Abuse is subjective though as is value. And in this market there is a buyer for everything!

If you were in my area, I'd say your price was high, but not out of line. I would have asked about $80, but your area may bring higher prices. I would leave the mountain bike and hybrid description as is. After all, it looks like it is an older, rigid fork, mountain bike. But, I'd lose the reference to "BMX". Hey, if it doesn't sell for $110, you can always lower the price and re-list.
BTW, I've seen some rigid fork Trek 220's (24 inch rims) selling for $80.

You may be right but this is the selling season and buyers are plentiful right now.
I have sold quite a few the last month or so and gotten really good prices. Gas prices are pushing more to ride and bike prices are going up
Hey, if it doesn't sell for $110, you can always lower the price and re-list.

I'd listen to that guy...forget my advice;)


I've purchased some Trek 820s and the like for 50 bones 'round here, but maybe I'm in a more depressed area or something. I tend to bid low on older bikes though...I usually just get them for free from friends who upgrade to something new.
