Can somebody tell me an easy way to shrink pictures down so you can post them on this site. My camera, even on the smallest compression still makes the files bigger than you can post here. I know you can use photoshop but I don't have it.

I have several imaging programs but I haven't found where to make them smaller in terms of file size. Anyone have a simple method for this?

I use either IrfanView or XnView. Both programs are freeware and I think you can find them at www.tucows.com Both programs work similarly. Under the "Image" menu choose "resize." Then you have a number of choices for size. If you specify a size in one dimension, be sure to check the "keep aspect ratio" box. Or choose a percentage of reduction and don't worry about it.

You can also resize images in MSPaint. On the "image" menu choose
"Stretch and Skew." Then under stretch enter a percentage.

Hope that helps.
