I'm too tired to do too much reporting, so in a nutshell:
YES!
The Velogirls (http://www.velogirls.com/coaching/programs.php (http://www.velogirls.com/coaching/main.php)) class was really fun stuff. Very clear instruction with theory followed by practice and critique. I'm sure that most people who take this class, even if they have experience and skills already, will come away with at least one gem that will help them be even better.

I know I can corner better now. Not every time, but I know how it's supposed to feel now. I have things to work toward. It seems funny to say that. I rode over 7000 miles last year, and have road experience back to the mid 70s.

I'm encouraging Tricia to take this class, and hope they run the climbing and descending class when we can take it.

We learned how to bump, just a little. An important skill that makes me very uncomfortable. They did a good job, but I suck at this.

Good report Curtis. I know I could use some real training. I'll have to make time to take some classes.

thanks for the report and photos, Curtis! it's too bad you didn't get any photos of the bump & grind. that was my favorite moment from the day.

it was an absolute pleasure working with you. it's always fun to teach an old dog new tricks.....

Peter, it was great to meet you as well. you're going to be a good rider -- I can see it already!

Taxi, we have ways to make you focus. trust me on that.....

next up on the calendar is our Bike Skills 201 clinic on June 8th. this is a climbing and descending clinic and it's co-ed. we've almost filled up at this point -- only six spots left. ignore the registration deadline of May 26th posted on SBO (not sure why that's there). registration is still open:

Quick update! We've sold out the clinic on June 8th but have opened up a wait list. We will most likely add another session in the afternoon or fit folks into the morning session from the wait list. Curtis and his lovely wife registered just in time.
