Hello all.
I'm looking for anyone in Moreno Valley who commutes to Riverside. Right now there are a couple hairy construction zones, and I'd feel better about the ride if I had a partner every morning.
I leave the Sunnymead area around 6:00.
Here is my route http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Moreno-Riverside-Commute.
You don't have to go the whole route, but it'd be nice to find someone to go down the hill with. If you are a first time commuter, please ride the route first on the weekend. It is very fast at times. I average 20mph on the flats, and get up to 45 on Central.
I get to ride home a couple times a week, and average about 12mph on the way back.

Claim to be a 20 year old female, and I'd bet you get a few offers even if they aren't working those days.

ROFL...
But how pissed off will the dude be when a 6'0 burly man walks up and says, "Cindi couldn't make it today, I'm taking her spot."

I'd offer, but I live and work near downtown Riverside. I could possibly ride up there with you in the evenings sometime -- though that climb is pretty slow for me on my touring / commuting rig.

What area do you work in anyway? You might be able to map out an alternate route that has a bit less automobile traffic.
