hi im soup, and I wanna buy a bike im looking at the norco screamer, i found one on sale and it seems it would fit my needs, i need it mainly for getting to/from work and school but i also want a bike that i can hit the trails with and wont snap like a twig. unfortunately they only have small frames left, when i sat on the bike it seemed about right (but then again i know very little about bikes and i haven't ridden one since i was about 16)

what i want to know is, is it unusual for a 20 year old (im about 5'10) to be riding a S frame or is it just personal preference? the lady at the store told me that she sells the S frame to mostly younger teenagers, and that i would have to wait until the 04's come out to get a M or L so can anyone give me some advice, or at least point me to the right forum? i appreciate any help

Never buy a bike simply because it is on sale. The Small sounds like it will not be the right size, unless you're looking for that BMX feel. And as a commuter bike, it sounds completely wrong.

My advice - expand your search to other brands. Norco makes a good bike, but so do many others. Get a bike that feels right to you.
