Free Bicycle Parking

I just got through helping the Bicycle Advocacy of Central Arkansas provide free attended bicycle parking for those going to Little Rock's Riverfest music festival this weekend. Having lost a bicycle to thieves at the L.A. Street Scene one year, I know how valuable a service like this is

Columbus has Pedal Instead. They provide Bike Valet to a number of events in the city through out the year.

Bike Parking now REQUIRED at certain events

To promote bicycling and reduce bicycle theft, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors passed a new series of Bicycle regulations as of January 1,1999. In the new regulations, section 2.76 states the following requirement for all events incurring a street closure, "Monitored bicycle parking is required for events with an anticipated number of participants greater than 2000".
