Saw this thing on on eBay. The stoker's handlebar is connected to the front stem so that it turns with the captain's. Interesting, but Malkin doesn't want to steer. She's too busy watching... well... nevermind what she's watching. :innocent:

Have seen older tandem models that used a chain connecting front to rear stem/handlebars for steering.
More recently saw a tandem with a cable setup connecting stoker bars/stem to very short length of chain leading to a cog set up horizontal to captain's stem.
So captain wants to turn left and stoker wants to turn right . . .
Looks like a product to solve a problem that doesn't exist!

What was going through the mind of someone to build that?
The LAST thing I would want is having my stoker imput on MY bars.
That is a cruiser so speed is not an issue but on a real road tandem at speed?
Scary.

I control the bike; the stoker controls me.

Cheers!
