Ben Perry was a physical education/health teacher at Traip Academy in Kittery Maine. He lost his two year battle with Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP) disease on January 12, 2008 at the age of 32. During his illness, Ben maintained a positive attitude and was a role model of steadiness in the face of adversity. Ben’s Dream was to have a climbing wall built in the gym at Traip Academy in Kittery. Ben Perry’s Dream Ride will raise funds to ensure the completion of Ben’s dream.
The ride will be Saturday June 21 with registration beginning at 8am at Kittery Trading Post (KTP) X-Sports. The road rides are 8, 15, and 30 miles and all start and finish at KTP X-Sports.
KTP X Sports will also provide a free bicycle safety rodeo for the little ones who are new to riding a bike.
The event will culminate with a 1.7 mile Community Bike Parade.
Registration Fee is $10 for youths (17 and under) and $20 for adults.
