i can get about 4-5 feet off a downhill about a foot high jump and on local trail jumps were some of my friends are jumping 5-9 feet i get 4-5 but i fell like i can do more but i try and nothing better comes out any tips on all around jumping would be great

go faster and buinny hop off the lip. oh yea...practice.

Apart from technique, like in any sport, I think you need the proper strength to weight ratio to get enough speed as Maelstrom mentioned.

- Lose unnecessary weight if you're heavy. It's easier to throw a baseball ball than a bowling ball.
- Build up explosive accelerating power (like a sprinter taking off out of the starting gate) through pliometrics
- Build up muscle mass in your legs and upper body to move that bike and sustain speed.

While going up the lip follow it's shape and while in the air pull the bike up underneath you with your legs and if wanted almost grip the seat with knees. Just before landing extend legs and arms then as landing absorb with knees and arms.
