Can anyone recommend a shop to rent a road bike around St. Louis? More specifically, I'll be out in Chesterfield.

look up katy trail bike rentals...that is the biggest draw for bikers, and you should be able to find something around that area (st. charles - not too far from c-field).

I see this is old but, I'll throw this info out there...

Big Shark Bike Shop (actually Little Shark right across the street but, BS will be easier to find if you ask) rents road bikes. That's University City, near Forest Park.

In Forest Park there is a rental at the Visitor's Center. Mostly Hybrids/Comfort bikes, whatever you call them these days.
