I ordered spokes, rim, and hub last week, but forgot nipples. Does it matter whether I use ones from my LBS that are not the same manufacturer?

As long as they are the correct gauge its fine

Unless you're building something that uses proprietary nipples, like the DA paired-spoke wheel I rebuilt recently.

But my money's on your build being OK with LBS nipples.
