Just joined. I've had my Mongoose mountain bike for some time, but it just got too old.
Now I'm looking for a decent bmx bike, but I'm not a hardcore biker, so something decent and
well priced sounds good. I read about Haro and Eastern bikes, but can't find much on Mongoose.

Any suggestions on a good bmx bike.

Then choose a bike and post it here and I am sure you will get better feedback and also post a price range.

yes. buy a bmx bike that is NOT a Mongoose. lol

I'm old enough to remember when they were decent bikes, but in recent years they have turned into a hot mess-non adjustable headsets, die cast parts. total crap. seriously, please don't waste money on them. danscomp, craigslist, and ebay are all good resources for affordable, quality bikes.

I have a Mongoose. But it is customized with many different parts. i have never had a problem with it.

They are shoddy, the top-end ones aren't worth the money either
