Some of us are doing the Sequoia Century on Sunday. I thought I'd lead a short 42 miler, get a little climbing in, but not so much as to blow us out for Sunday.
What: Prelude to Sequoia
When: Saturday, 5/31/2008, 10 am
Where: Mountain View Caltrain Station. Meet by the bus stop.
Distance: ~ 42 miles
Elevation Gain: 1361 feet (at least according to mapmyride.com)
Route: http://www.mapmyride.com/ride/united-states/ca/mountain-view/655946994
So who's in?

I just realized I posted the wrong date originally ... it will still be Saturday, but May 31st.
Sorry for the confusion.

I am only a maybe at this point... If my Record levers aren't in by today, I probably won't make it. Maybe I'll take the commuter otherwise.

I'm out of commission for a couple of weeks. Wife is out of town and I have kid duties.... :(

I guess I might have to go solo ... whatever the case, I will be there at Mountain View Caltrain station at 10 am. Whoever wants to join me, great.
This is a flatter ride (in comparison to the likes of Mt. Diablo, Kings, Mt. Tam, or Mt. Hamilton). But I want to emphasize this is not a flat ride ... just flat-ter
I'll be in San Francisco tomorrow running errands so I'm out.
I'm going to try to make this one. Considering my track record lately, that should translate as "don't hold your breath." I haven't done any non-commute riding in a while, though, so I need to get something in.

I'm resting up today (and going shopping). Rode to work yesterday, those 56 miles will be my training :) Maybe spin out a few mins at the gym in my building just to keep the legs loose.

This ride is not too tough ... goal is to get some spinning in, and loosen the legs. No really tough climbs, and not too long. Besides, you'll be way ahead of me tomorrow anyways ... :)
Huh, whaddaya know, I may make this one. Heading out shortly.
