Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - search sucks (again)

The search sucks and will always suck. There are so many features they can implement with this software that will make navigation so much easier but it is like pulling teeth to get anything done here (except ban people).

I have suggested numerous times a "recent topics" button that takes you to all of the posts you have participated in so you can see who replied to your own posts. It is so convenient compared to searching your own name every time you want to check.

Also right now it is not showing any of my posts past the 14th. Thats 3 days of missing posts.

Anyway nothing will change though. I have emailed and pm'ed IB more times then I can remember and have not once have I received a reply.

Click on 'User Control Panel' in the upper right of your screen to see recent threads that you have participated in that have been replied to.

That being said, Internet Brands has clearly shown that they don't care about BF except as a vehicle to sell ads. Why anyone would give them $25 a year for membership when they have the attitude that they do is beyond me.

That only brings you to the list of threads you participated in. You cannot (to my knowledge) directly jump to your posts which can be quite difficult in 5+ page threads that you posted somewhere in the middle of.

Agreed that Internet Brands doesn't care about the members. They buy up a bunch of big name sites to sell ads and get money. They caused a ton of problems on another site I am on which is much much larger then this one.

this time it just plain old sucks. the simplification has rendered it even more useless than it was before.
