I plan on purchasing a StokeMonkey when they return to the market. I intend on using it to help me move around town while lugging large amounts of gear on a Surly Big Dummy Xtracycle that I intend on ordering in the next few weeks.

I also plan on using the Big Dummy for expeditions, and I will not want the StokeMonkey (nor it's weight) at those times. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions of places to look on how to modify/rig the StokeMonkey to my Big Dummy in a way that it can safely and easily be detached and reattached with a modicum of effort (or less)? (And in a way that will not void it's warranty.)

The only bikeforums member I know of, who can answer your question, is the guy that came up with stokemonkey in the first place. His username here is tfahrner, and you could private message him, or go to clevercycles.com and e-mail him.
