Just got a new mongoos status, riding it for the first time I notice when I bear down on some heavy cranking there is like a slippage like a clutching affect, is something loose in there or is there a such thing as a clucthing crank/casset etc? I guess I should read the manual but sense I was here on this great forum I would throw this out there and see if anyone knows of this. This doesnt effect normal riding and really doesnt effect hard heavy riding but I never road a bike that does this so I was wondering if this is normal or something was loose.

any info greatly appreciated.

If it's slipping or jumping gears, it may be that the frame is flexing.

its not jumping gears, it may be the rear sus flex like you say if anything I guess, it doesnt stop the forward motion or hinder it in any way, its just a slight spongy feeling in my pedal and if there isnt anything such as a crank or rear casset with this type of thing then I would imagine maybe its the rear shock now that you mension it.
Thanks
