Among the rando crowd here in Oregon, RainLegs are all the rage for wet weather (what other kind is there in western OR?) My problem is, riding a recumbent I need full length coverage, and RainLegs only reach to the knee area. Seems to me there was a similar / related product a year or two ago that was full length. Anybody out there know of such a thing?

for a recumbent rider, wouldn't you be equally as worried of water coming in from road or side spray? seems like a set of full coverage rain pants would be more of what you'd be looking for.

Since I'm on a highracer with full coverage fenders, I stay pretty dry except from above. 'Sides, I sweat too much in rain pants.:rolleyes:

You could just take a pair of regular rain pants and cut out the backs of the legs and butt, then sew on some straps. Or you could take a pair of RainLegs and sew extensions on. I haven't seen anything commercial.

They are the rainmates. same maker as the rain legs I believe. I mailordered mine through the clever cycle people. They are rainlegs with snap on shin extensions. I used them for all of 3 rainy commutes here in socal this year, keeping them in the bike bag ensured that we barely even had mist. The days that I did need them they worked fantastic though.
