well the racing forum has the "pics of you suffering in a race" thread (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=280314), so let's start our own version of that.
got any pics of you suffering and/or enjoying a brevet? share!
i'll start. here i am rolling into the control at 300km into a 400k (http://cyclinginseattle.blogspot.com/2008/05/seattle-randos-may-2008-400k-three-pass.html) - very happy!

then only a few minutes later, sun-burned and tired:

but even though i looked like i wanted to give up, i was "only" 100km from the finish, and luckily i completed it - even if i felt like throwing in the towel. sometimes not carrying a cell phone has its advantages!
