My sister-in-law just arrived for a visit from the U.S., and delivered the Polar A3s I had bought a month or so back for my wife and myself.

I would love to put the "watch" itself on the bars, with the ErgoBrain. Has anyone seen any kind of a mounting bracket for them?

I suppose, in a pinch, I could possibly modify one meant for some other computer.

Thanks...Gary

Gary - I do just that . . . I put the watch on the bars. Admittedly the bars make a very skinny wrist, but my Polar has strap holes all the way to the watch, and a bit of tape hold it in place.

I tend to do this if the bike is on the trainer. If I'm on the road I wear the wacth on my wrist, with the display facing inwards, so I don't have to cock my wrist that much to read it.

I purchased a piece of foam insulation that wraps around the coolant pipes on a home air conditioner. You can get it at hardware stores for about $2(US) in a 6 foot length.

Just cut a piece about 1-1/2 to 2 inches wide with a sharp knife or scissors. This is similar to what Cardiosport and some other manufacturers use. It will be just slightly smaller in diameter than the average(??) wrist.

Servus!

Sure, I have such a device. Go to your local fitness store that sells HRM's and ask. Polar makes one and so does a bunch of other companies.

You can get them from Polar dealers for about $7.00
