Only cause my Athena can hang with the boys!:D Our lil ride on Sunday. A 30 miler. She's also done a few 72's and an 84 along with the group. Life is sweet when the Lil Missus hangs with the boys!:thumb:
Maybe a century sometime soon?:innocent:

You are indeed a lucky guy.
What kind of a pathway are you riding on? It looks like a old road thats been re-lined with bike lanes and shoulders. I've never seen any simular to it.

It's a path but this short section is the top of the Santa Fe Dam. I've never seen any vehicles up there but sure there are maintenance trucks and such. Down the way there is a booth used for entry fees into the recreation area below. So could have been used as a road before , maybe another entrance to the park. But it's a very short section, about a mile maybe. The rest of the path is the usual type trail.:D

I'm happy for you that you have someone so compatible to love and be loved by.
I'm not going to get jealous tho because I am quite happy with my foxy Athena chick!

My Becky rides, cooks, and snuggles like no other.
She helped me pick out Eagle, encouraged me to spend the dough, kicks me in the massive butt if I go too long without riding...
I am content.

No envy regarding the riding with you but might get envious about the cooking and baking. What are some of the yummiest foods mrs beanz cooks? Mouth watering already.

Yup! It was 105 the weekend before. Midweek was 50'ish with plenty of rain. Forecast for Fri, Sat and Sun was scattered showers. This was Sunday, no showers but cool and dark. Not to mention a tornado a few days back.

Mr. beans, I am just south of the SF Dam in whittier area, but I have never ridden the top of the dam. I have ridden up along the 605 bike path to the dam though.
Just curious how many miles around the entire dam area?
Great to learn of other local rides.

Fear not, since the pics were taken, every single one of us now has either found their helmet or purchased one.
Just enjoy the pretty girl picture.

Sorry, never been around on the dam, just that short section, maybe 1.5 miles. We start at Encanto park, ride the trail to the rec area, then up the dam for the short section, then down to the SGRT. Only been on that trail 5 times maybe. Usually to Seal Beach and back, 72 miles round trip.
But nope, never been around the entire dam top. Only learned about a month ago that it did go around. One guy mentioned that it would add about 3 more miles if we went the opposite direction on the return. My guess would be 4 or 5 miles but that's just a guesstimate!:D
If you asked in the SoCal forum, I'm sure someone would know. A few locals from that area!

I'd like to get out on casual rides with her every once in awhile, but I also like the quiet time spent riding alone (Women ride to talk, not to ride).

Hahaha! This is the time I like to break out the pictures. My wife will answer a couple of questions while riding with a brief reply. Any more than a couple of q's, she will not respond. She says it ruins her concentration. Her best is 18.1 average on a 42 mile ride. Didin't hear a peep out of her on that ride!:D
This is a ride we did a sometime last year. All guys and my wife ( in black, left side)

Same day! This is about 15 miles down the road. About 6 or 7 guys chasing down my wife while she was doing about 24 mph. She's the lil black dot at the front. I hung back to keep an eye on the slow guys doing 19 mph:D
http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l267/gulpxtreme/chasingGina.jpg
Another day, 35 mph winds. We caught up to this group of guys that jumped our wheels. Only one was able to keep up while the others dropped. Now does she look like she's talking?:twitchy:

Yes, she does, but her sister lives in Canada, is married, 11 yrs younger and doesn't ride a bike. (She does do Yoga though and is in just as good of shape.)
I am very happy my wife is staying active and enjoys riding her bike.

Grandmother? You must be kidding! I'm going to show this pic to my grandmother.
By the way, does mrs Beanz know you are showing the world pics of her after long sweaty rides? You might be in a lot of trouble, young man.

Glad to see you Californians finally taking your long sleeves and jackets off. You need those when it's only 80 (before it climbs to 105 ) ;).

Hahahaha! Yerah, she knows! Funny cause I vistit a couple of other bike forums and post pics. The others come down on me cause they show too much cleavage. Another says I show too much spandex! So one day I post a pic that some guy sent me , kind of as a joke. A pic of some buns on a Brookes type saddle showing some cheek as an avatar. One girl goes off on how my wife is insecure cause I look at other poster butts of young girls (not true). She starts a big deal, 11 pages of flaming me. I never answer as it was closed before I got off work that day. The other members that know us put her in her place pretty well and I was asked not to respond!:D
So I lose if I post her or any other pic!:D But she knows and sees what I post as far as pics. She's refused a couple only cause her legs or butt looked too big, in her opinion!:p Matter of fact, a few riders tthat we have met on the tail approach her and say,"You're Gina!":D
They explain how they have seen her on the forums so many times. I have a thread in the Socal forum "SART journal and pics". Had one last year too. Every ride I do, I post her pics, some of mine, and others that we meet. So it's no secret and I have nothing to hide. Ask anybody in the SoCal forum or any that have ridden with us!
Can't please everyone so I do what I want, as long as she let's me!:D
I'm actually proud of those sweaty pics! She looks beat but sexy in a way, IMO!...I've told her!

It really is a small world this interweb. Some oddball on the other side of the world puts a pic up and I have actually been in the neighbourhood.

I definitely did not see you. I was there in 2002 and seeing your lycra butt would have burnt that horrific image onto my brain!
So let me do a bit of detective work..someone long ago said you were an oddball and said you had a nice butt. I bet that someone gave you 6 grandchildren.
