Road Bike Racing - Pescadero Roll Call

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Who's in?
I'll be driving up from SoCal with a bunch of teammates for the Cat III's. I've never done the race but I've ridden in the area and heard good things about it. Any suggestions or tactics?

I'll be there. Most likely in the 35+.
Tactics? The big climb will thin things out each time up. If you're a good climber try not to do any work until the final 8 minute climb to the finish. If not, then try to break away on the long gradual descent on the final lap.

It is Saturday - June 14.

The race is presented by Webcor/Alto Velo, my racing club. I have never done the actual race before but I understand it rates among the best. Most of the men's categories are full. I am a "wait and see." I have done the course numerous times as part of our training rides - it is indeed spectacular but challenging.
"Spectacular 28-mile loop through coastal dunes and redwood groves consisting of Stage Rd., Hwy.84 and Pescadero Rd. 1500’ of climbing per lap including the epic Haskin’s Hill grade."
Red Rider, there are two women's categories: W 3/4 and W 35+ (1.7 laps - 47 miles) - pick your poison!
